About Dungeon Fest

What is it?

Dungeon Fest is an annual celebration of individuality, creativity, personal expression, and social bonds. We are a community driven, independent festival that creates the opportunity for people to come out once a year, spend time with friends and strangers, and create memories through the collective stories we tell by using the games we play.

Creativity and personal expression is what drives us, why we host games run by our community members, showcase live music and take the time to thank each and everyone of you for making Dungeon Fest happen.

Our Stance on AI

All things Dungeon Fest are done through the hard work of humans. We are adamantly anti-AI especially when it relates to the generation (rip-off) of art.

We offer a wide range of games and events. Including Mordheim, Mork Borg and of course, Magic the Gathering. Dungeon Fest is a premier destination for the niche DIY hobby scene in Western Canada.

Live Music

Dungeon Fest hosts live bands every year. We aim to have a diverse line up that embodies the spirit of our underground communities and pride our selves on the celebration of communities coming together.

Land Acknowledgement

With gratitude, and mutual respect, we acknowledge the ancestral home, culture, and oral teachings of the Treaty 7 signatories which includes the Siksika Nation, Piikani Nation, Kainai Nation, the Îethka Stoney Nakoda Nation, consisting of the Chiniki, Bearspaw and Good Stoney Bands, and the people of the Tsuut’ina Nation. The City of Calgary is also homeland to the historic Northwest Métis (May-tea) and to the Otipemisiwak Métis Government, Métis Nation Battle River Territory, Nose Hill Métis District 5 and Elbow Métis District 6.
